Police here today arrested one person for allegedly attacking film actor and Parliamentarian Govinda's bodyguard Chandrakant Mokal.

According to Oshiwara police sources, Govinda was shooting for a film at City Mall here.

Some shopkeepers were opposed to the shooting and Mokal was allegedly attacked, sources said, adding a person named Aman Gajir has been arrested. Police are on the lookout for one more person in this connection.

The film was being shot since morning and a large number of people had gathered to watch the shoot, thereby inconveniencing the shop-keepers, sources said. A film camera was also damaged in the scuffle, police said.

Mokal allegedly had a tiff with some of the shop-keepers at the mall over the matter. Following this, Govinda had intervened but the issue had only become more serious, police said.
